Amazing getaway for the family

The property was outstanding with 4 private cottages which where separated by trees and gardens looking out onto nearby grassy lawns and lush gardens. Having the owner's house situated at the entrance before you drive down a secluded lane way to the cottages made us feel secure. The birds, horses and gardens were a treat and the fire wood delivered daily was wonderful. The owner was very easy to contact and prompt when we needed something. The nearby town had many things to explore; markets, lookouts, restaurants, walking tracks and food and gift shops. We had a hire car but we also used a local driver to get to our son's wedding which was at a nearby wedding venue.

Location is great.

The Cottages exceeded our expectations and was a perfect size for a family of four. The log burner was perfect during poor weather. Beds and bedding were comfortable. Kitchen did the job. A spa bath and a big shower to wash the weather off.

Our kids went crazy for feeding the birds and walking to see the horses in the paddock. The location is great. It is a short drive to a supermarket, cages and restaurants, and Curtis Falls.

Fire was Amazing!

Perfect stay. Cottage very homely, has all you need. Very comfy bed & soft warm blankets. Fire was amazing along with the spa bath after a day of activities. Will definitely be back. Already recommended to friends & family. Thanks for the privacy & peace & quiet.

Oh my goodness, what a lovely & relaxing stay. So great that we could bring our dog with us, she had a great time rolling on the green green grass & greeting the horses daily.

Everything We Imagined It To Be...

Delightful and cosy cabin, very neat and tastefully furnished. Peaceful and relaxing country location to recharge batteries... but conveniently close to the Gold Coast with its shops, beaches and restaurants / nightlife. Hosts are very friendly and helpful... Loved.

Perfect on the Cooler Winter Nights

The Cottages was an amazing experience for our anniversary/birthday weekend getaway in the hinterland. The pictures don't do it justice. We pet the horses and in the privacy of our own cottage lazed around by the indoor fireplace and in the spa bath for two, absolutely perfect on the "cooler" winter nights. Beautiful views onto the property and a great location. Need to book slightly in advance for restaurants and taxi service if needed, but we had no trouble with this & the staff were kind enough one night to be our driver to the local pub. Which was within walking distance of The Cottages. We loved it.
